Over its 22-year run, the video game magazine GamePro received a large amount of publicity materials from video game publishers, including screenshots, artwork, and press releases. This collection includes all known press assets received by GamePro from roughly 1995–2004, as originally organized by GamePro designer Katrin Auch.
The CDs in this collection were either sent to GamePro by various game publishers, or they are backup CDs created by the GamePro staff from files delivered via other methods (eg., via FTP over the internet). Starting in the early 00s, game publishers had almost entirely switched to distributing press materials over the internet, and most CDs in this collection after that point where compiled by GamePro.
